Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Floss ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our dating app for dental students.

1. Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account. We use this only to create and authenticate your Floss account. We do not request access to your Google contacts, calendar, drive, or any other Google service data.

In addition to Google sign-in data, we collect:

2. How we use your information

3. We do not sell your data

Floss does not sell your personal data to anyone. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers. We only share information with service providers (such as our backend and authentication providers) that help us run the app, and only to the extent needed for them to do so.

4. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, photos, and messages, except where we are required to keep limited records for safety, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete the personal information on your profile at any time from within the app. For any other privacy request, email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time frame.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe.

7. Children

Floss is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we will remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Floss after changes means you accept the updated policy.
