Terms of Service

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Floss. By creating an account you confirm that the date of birth you provide is accurate. We may permanently remove any account where we have reason to believe the user is under 18.
2. Sign-in & data we collect
You can sign in to Floss using Google. When you do, we receive your name and email address from your Google account to create and authenticate your Floss account. We do not request any other Google data, and we do not sell your personal information. For full details on what we collect and how we use it, see our Privacy Policy.
3. The service
Floss is a social/dating app concept aimed at dental students and dental professionals. We make no guarantees about the availability, accuracy, or completeness of the service. Profiles on the service may be real users or seeded examples included for demonstration; seeded profiles are clearly internal and don't represent real people.
4. Your conduct
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. In particular, you may not:
- Harass, threaten, dox, or impersonate other users.
- Upload sexually explicit imagery, nudity, or content depicting minors.
- Use the service for commercial solicitation, spam, or scams.
- Post photos that aren't of yourself.
- Attempt to circumvent blocks, bans, or moderation.
Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund or notice.
5. Content you post
You retain ownership of photos, prompts, and messages you create. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your content solely so we can operate the service. We will delete your content when you delete your account, except where we are required to retain it for safety, legal, or moderation purposes.
6. Reports & moderation
Users may report behavior that violates these Terms. We review reports and may take action including warnings, content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban. We do not promise a specific response time but aim to review serious reports within 24 hours.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a safety risk to other users.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the platform. Always meet new people in public, tell a friend where you'll be, and trust your instincts.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
